  13.     This file will update any version of Strategic Falcon to 
  14.     version 1.21.
  15.     
  16.     To apply the patch, copy the files DONTRUN.EXE, SF_ALL.RTP,
  17.     VERTAD.DAT, and STRATPAT.EXE into your Strategic Falcon 
  18.     directory (normally "\STRAT"). Or copy the self-extracting 
  19.     archive "SFALL.EXE" into your Strategic Falcon directory and 
  20.     type "SFALL" <Enter>.
  21.      
  22.     When you've got the update files in the proper place, type 
  23.     "STRATPAT" <Enter>.
  24.     
  25.     Next, please read the documentation files NEW!.TXT, 
  26.     11_READ.ME, 111_READ.ME, 12_READ.ME, and 121_READ.ME. (There 
  27.     have been quite a few changes to StratFalc!)
  28.     
  29.     If you're trying to install Strategic FALCON version 1.0 
  30.     to use with FALCONCD.EXE, please read the instructions at 
  31.     the end of this file.
  32.     
  33.     If you have any questions, you can reach me by one of the 
  34.     methods detailed in the documentation.  (Oh, and feel free 
  35.     to upload this patch file to any BBS you feel would benefit

  61.   │   Strategic FALCON version 1.0 to use with FALCONCD.EXE:   │

  64.     The StratFalc ver 1.0 install program looks for the file 
  65.     FALCON3.EXE on your hard drive so it can create essential 
  66.     backups of some of your Falcon 3.0 data files.
  67.     
  68.     If you use the FALCON GOLD CD-ROM to install Falcon, there 
  69.     will be no FALCON3.EXE file on your hard disk. Take the 
  70.     following steps *before* attempting to install Strategic 
  71.     FALCON:
  72.     
  73.     *  Install Falcon GOLD in accordance with Spectrum Holobyte's 
  74.        instructions. You can use either the full hard drive 
  75.        installation or the CD-ROM installation. After the 
  76.        installation is complete, you should return to a DOS 
  77.        prompt.
  78.        
  79.     *  If you used the CD-ROM installation, copy the following 
  80.        files from the \F3CD directory of your CD to the 
  81.        \FALCONCD directory on your hard drive:

  86.                             ILS.ISR

  105.          COPY E:\F3CD\ILS.* C:\FALCONCD  (Press <Enter>)
  106.          COPY E:\F3CD\*.STR C:\FALCONCD  (Press <Enter>)

  108.     *  If you're not there already, change to the \FALCONCD 
  109.        directory on your hard drive:

  111.          C:  (Press <Enter>)
  112.          CD \FALCONCD  (Press <Enter>)

  114.     *  Next, rename FALCONCD.EXE to FALCON3.EXE:

  116.          REN FALCONCD.EXE FALCON3.EXE  (Press <Enter>)

  118.     *  Install Strategic FALCON from its distribution diskette.
  119.        Apply this patch to your new Strategic FALCON 
  120.        installation using the instructions given at the top of 
  121.        this file.

  123.     *  Finally, rename your FALCON3.EXE back to FALCONCD.EXE:
